Examples

A CV without any additional samples costs $5. However, there are some options to increase the smoothness for an additional fee. Vowel transitions drastically improve choppiness with only ~6 additional samples.

CV only:

With VV transitions:

-CV samples improve the realism of samples that come directly after silence. Native recordings for -CV will have best results, but imitation CV and -CV can be made from a standard 1-mora list.

Not using -CV samples:

Using -CV starting samples:

Example of a reclist with native -CV: "ba-ba" "bi-bi"
Example of workable reclist: "ba" "bi" "bu"
Example of incompatable reclist: "ba-bi-bu-be-bo"

*For use as CV only, do not record "n" transition lines at the end. L and RR samples are not necessary.

CVVC examples

CVVC is an UTAU format that increases smoothness by blending consonants. It has much fewer recordings than VCV but is noted to be hard to use in UTAU.

CVVC works best in songs that have long notes. When notes are short and clustered together, there isn't room for the VC transitions, ending in low-quality results.

CVVC voicebanks are technically able to run CV files, which removes the transition issue in short notes. However, since the method of configuration is different, the consonants end up very poorly enunciated and rushed.

If you'd like the CVVC voicebank to be able to run CV as well, I will create an additional configuration (including CV, VV, and -CV) for $3 USD per pitch.

- DeepVocal configuration -

DeepVocal only accepts CVVC-style recordings, and I cannot make one from CV. I am willing to convert VCV for an additional fee, but it will have the same result as a CVVC voicebank.
